A very exciting part of Pauline's work is the creation of Portraits of children for their proud parents or grand parents.  Pauline's ability to capture a real likeness is uncanny, and her greatest pleasure comes from seeing the look on the faces of the parents and family as they view their "child" for the first time.

They can take away a piece of art that will remind them of "their" wonderful creation at the age that they have chosen.  Pauline and Bob work closely with the Oculist who creates the eyes, so that a real likeness can be achieved, and a human hair wig in the style and colour of the child's  hair also helps to complete the likeness.

UN-NAMED BABY.

Pauline & Bob were recently commissioned to create a portrait of this lovely little girl.  Here are the results....

WENDY.

Wendy's parents wrote.......

"Pauline and Bob,

Wendy is fantastic.  I can't get over how real she looks.  Greg thinks she is great too....... I asked Wendy what she thought and and she said "She's beautiful, she's wearing my dress, she's wearing my tights, Oh, she is me!"

Thank you so much for the fantastic work you have both put in to her.  We are all very pleased with "Wendy" and are delighted to have met such a skilled and talented couple.  I can't thank you enough Pauline for making me such a beautiful doll, and a memory I won't forget.

Jenni and Greg.

ELIZA.

Marie was lucky enough to be able to pick up her portrait of "Eliza"in person.

Eliza was happy with her "twin" but Pauline & Bob's dog "Rex" was a little unnerved by it all, and refused to look.

BRYNN.

Brynn's parents wanted their little "angel" reproduced in fine porcelain.

AVANTI.

Avanti's parents, Nima & Rick, wrote........

"She's here!!  I had to wait a couple of hours before Rick got home because he wanted us to open her together.  What a sweet surprise!! - she is just beautiful!!  We're stunned! The real Avanti is a bit afraid of her, but I am sure it is because of all the attention she's getting.  I can see her now across the room and she looks so real.  Thanks again for such a beautiful doll.  The work is impeccable and we are honoured to have her.

Take care,

Nima & Rick".
